Points for Good Concern India Foundation Education Scholarship for Higher Education E-Gift Voucher

Concern provides valuable and timely support to talented underprivileged students encouraging them to complete their education and seek better career opportunities. It started with 22 beneficiaries in Delhi and was gradually expanded to Bangalore and Pune in the consecutive years. The reach so far has been 490 students across Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Pune, enabling them to pursue various degree/professional courses like, B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, Hotel Management etc. For an all-round development, our programme provides counselling, mapping aspirations, capabilities and opportunities for underprivileged youth. We provide support to the students through regular follow ups, additional counselling, career guidance, material support, mentorship and continuous monitoring of their performance. Over the years, the impact of the Scholarship programme has been as follows- ► 157 scholars have successfully completed their course. Some have decided to pursue post graduation and the rest have landed themselves a job with national and international companies. ►333 scholars are currently at various stages of their course, both-technical professional courses like, B. A., BCom, B.E, MBBS, B.D.S, B.Ed and non-technical undergraduate courses from universities and polytechnic institutions. ► These are from Delhi Technical University, Delhi University, Indian Institute of Hotel Management, St. Joseph’s college, Dayanand Sagar Engineering college etc.
